Hello! I am a Registered Psychologist with a PhD in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in private practice, university counselling services, hospitals, and non-profit organizations. Within these settings I provided individual, couples, and group therapy for people dealing with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress management, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, relational concerns, grief and loss, and difficult life transitions.
My approach to therapy is grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships, coupled with tailored approaches to best fit your individual needs, preferences, and goals. Amongst the often challenging components related to change and growth, I value bringing warmth, authenticity, and even laughter to therapy sessions, while focusing on opportunities to help foster deeper understanding and fresh perspectives.
I strongly believe that the client-therapist fit is key to therapeutic success. Please feel free to contact me for a telephone consultation to see how we can best work together.
